FundingNetwork is a trading name of The Funding Network Ltd, registered in England & Wales. We are the data controller for the personal information you provide through this website.

What we collect

When you submit a funding enquiry we collect the details you enter: your name, company, email address, telephone number, and information about your scheme such as location, unit numbers, costs, GDV, the facility you are seeking and your timescales.

We also collect standard technical information generated when you visit the site, such as pages viewed and approximate location derived from your IP address.

Why we use it

We use your enquiry details to assess your funding requirement, search the lender market on your behalf, respond to you within 24 hours, and progress an application where you ask us to.

Our lawful bases are the performance of a contract (or steps at your request prior to a contract) and our legitimate interest in operating a development finance brokerage. Where we send you market updates, we rely on your consent and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who we share it with

To find funding we may share your scheme details with lenders, private banks, private investors and professional advisers such as valuers, quantity surveyors and solicitors. We only do this to progress your enquiry.

We also use service providers who host this website and our database on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are retained for up to six years after our last contact with you, which reflects the regulatory and legal record-keeping periods that apply to financial intermediation. Enquiries that do not proceed are deleted sooner where we have no ongoing need for them.

Security

Enquiry data is stored in an access-controlled database. Access is restricted to authorised administrators, enforced by row-level security policies and role-based permissions.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access your personal data, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
